In my 2008 Jannes traveled again to Germany.
On 5 May 2008 was exactly 63 years since Jannes was rescued from the ship after the Thiel Beck was bombed by the English. They thought that the boats were German soldiers who wanted to flee. Jannes was one of the few from the water saved by the Swedish Red Cross. 63 years after the event Jannes for the first time on the water and he gets the opportunity to put on the water of the Lübeck a wreath in the presence of his two daughters.
